G.I. Joe Snake Eyes Mac OS Dashboard Widget Download or Create Your Own Custom Static Widget

For all you nostalgic 1980’s dorks out there like myself who loved G.I Joe, and in anticipation of this summer’s movie, which will probably end up being a dud, I created everyone’s favorite ninja commando Snake-Eyes into a Widget for the Mac OS Dashboard. Visit my site to download this really sweet but totally nonfunctional widget.

To create this file I simply explored the contents of another static Widget by right clicking on the file – I believe I used the virtual fruitcake downloaded from Mac’s site. I tweaked the HTML file to the correct size constraints in Dreamweaver and replaced default.png that was originally the cake with a default.png of Snake-Eyes that I found on the internet and removed the background with in Photoshop.
