30 Awesome and Influential Band Logos

Great Designs, Great Typography and Great Bands (Mostly)

I’ve been doing a little research on great band logos because I may be potentially doing one for my buddy’s band, assuming they decide to rename it. Since I was already doing the research and looking at them, I figured I would document them and share them with all of you. I was going to do the research and find out who designed all of them, but I got lazy.

Isn’t it strange how classic rock bands seem to have kept their logos throughout the years, but bands today switch them up every album? Anyway, here you are. Enjoy!

Hi, interesting write-up. Dude, is Maiden not one of the sweetest bands ever? I couldn’t be more excited for their tour and new album this summer! Do you think you’re planning on going to see them? Anyway… Up the Irons and cool blog – I’m subscribed to your feed now so thanks again!
